Our innovative design includes platforms, tables, chairs, benches, & storage that work together seamlessly to give students & staff the freedom to create staging of their choice. The various elements prompt students to actively engage with modules & assist in creating an atmosphere of participation, inclusion, trouble-shooting, playfulness, imagination, & creativity.
Stage Craft is designed to be stored using minimal space. After each performance, all components can be rearranged swiftly & neatly stored away, ready for the next group of creatives!

At Crafted Wood we are passionate about play. We believe that play is an essential part of life in all stages of child development, not just during early childhood but also during later years in middle and high school.
When approached by the director of the Arts at Wesley College Perth, we were asked to design furniture elements for an art room that would assist students and staff with various performances for middle and high school. Performances would include theatrical plays, music rehearsals, exhibitions, and workshops.
With our passion and experience for creating flexible play spaces, we came up with a solution that involves the use of differently shaped furniture modules that integrate with each other. Our innovative design includes tables, chairs, benches, and platforms that work together seamlessly to give students and staff the freedom to create what they want. Through a hands-on approach, they can actively engage with modules and create an atmosphere of participation, inclusion, creativity, imagination, and trouble-shooting – all attributes of healthy play.
